Ian Wiseman
Co-Owner
Ian, co-owner of Ladori Hair Studio and fellow proud Newfoundlander, started his business studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2009, where he also discovered a passion for studying human society and culture through archaeology and social-cultural anthropology. After completing his Bachelor of Arts, Ian pursued a degree in nutrition and dietetics, leading him to become a registered dietitian working with the Horizon Health Network, where he continues to work at the Diabetes Education Centre and Fundy Health Centre.
About the team member
In 2021, Ian founded Sustain Dietetics and has since grown his private practice, learning from both successes and mistakes. This experience has provided him with key insights for building Ladori Hair Studio with his partner, Beth. Together, they aim to innovate and cater to the gaps they’ve identified in the beauty industry, ensuring their business thrives. Ian’s extensive experience in customer service within the retail, food service, and service industry has honed his skills at various levels, from retail worker to management. These experiences have shaped his approach to business, emphasizing team collaboration, effective communication, and customer relations.
Ladori Beauty Group is founded on the combined experience, passion, and trust between Ian and Beth. They are committed to creating a business that contributes positively to employment, the local economy, and the community of Saint John, focusing on the growth and support of employees and delivering the highest quality experience for their guests.
On weekends, you’ll usually find Ian in the studio, ready to welcome clients into the space, ensuring a top-notch experience with his personal touch and dedication to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Ian loves the chance to build relationships with our valued clients and can’t wait to welcome you into Ladori!
